SUPPORTING HOMELESS, VULNERABLE AND ABUSED CHILDREN IN ST. LUCIA
The Jermain Defoe Foundation has been founded by Spurs and England striker Jermain Defoe to support homeless, vulnerable and abused young people in his family’s home country of St Lucia.
The foundation is a UK-based charity that works with the St Lucia government and existing organisations on the island that support and care for young people. This includes the Holy Family Children’s Home in Ciceron which caters for children ranging from babies to teenagers. This is the only dedicated children's home on the whole island.
Jermain also plans to establish a football academy in St Lucia to develop young talent and help players reach their full potential.
